Make sure the equipment you buy has been completely tested and certified before you agree to buy it. It is always important to enter into a service agreement with the company that you buy your metallizing equipment from. Complex machines need to be repaired by experienced professionals when they have mechanical difficulties. Therefore, you need to make sure you are covered in case something malfunctions. You should also make sure that the parts for your particular machine are readily available. You don't want to be waiting for several weeks while parts are special ordered.
